We are proud to have worked in partnership with Topland Group (www.topland.co.uk) to acquire Beneficial Building in the centre of Birmingham, which which was developed into a best-in-class Build to Rent property. The building, which was derelict for 13 years, has been renamed Paradise View (www.paradiseview.co.uk) and given a new lease of life as a much needed rental accommodation in a prime location in the city centre.
Verv-Life (www.verv-life.com) have been appointed as property managers.
Completed in February 2024, Paradise View now provides 159 apartments together with 4,000 sq. ft. of ancillary amenity space together with a roof terrace. A 4,000 sq. ft. retail unit has been let to Budgens and the basement provides a 4,500 sq. ft. gym let to Anytime Fitness.

The proposed re-development of this 1970’s office building is again in partnership with the Topland Group.
The site is within 10 mins walk of Cardiff University Union and our current plans are for a 585 bed Purpose Built Student Accommodation scheme in three adjoining blocks of accommodation, with three commercial units on the ground floor.
Planning consent was obtained in 2024 with anticipated project completion in 2028

The plans involve the provision of a new expanded modern fit for purpose Breeam Excellent building containing a retail unit for Mickleburgh with c.126 PBSA studio units above. We expect to be on site in summer 2025, with practical completion in time for the 2028/29 academic year.
